Spotted Hill Farm creates artisan goods for mind and body. Donna Howard’s journey into soap-making began almost ten years ago. After collecting books on the subject and taking a local course to overcome her fear of lye, she worked for three years on her recipes to improve their skin-loving properties before selling a single bar.   After testing the products on willing family and friends who encouraged her to start selling, a business was born. Spotted Hill Farms makes all their products in small batches, using the highest quality ingredients they can source, Fair Trade, organic and sustainably grown and harvested. Their goats are treated like pets and are loved. 

 Lotions, lip balm, shampoo, and chemical-free bug spray soon followed the soap to round out the offerings.  Donna loves meeting new customers, handcrafting the products, and creating new ones. She is working hard to find new venues to present her goods.  

We worked with Donna to create some images showcasing her products in a natural environment which goes well with her handcrafted soaps.  We also took some images at her spring barn sale and will be visiting the Farmers Markets she participates in.  At our encouragement, Donna recently joined instagram to start sharing more of the Spotted Hill Farm story with her followers.  She was very excited that in the first week she received two orders, one from a past customer and one from a new customer.  

Keep up the great work.  We love the Beat It Bug! spray and have been enjoying trying all the soaps.  It's hard to pick our favorite.  We look forward to seeing new products and helping your business grow!
